Iranian spy suspect given council flat in London - you couldn't make it up - Kelvin MacKenzie
Never here Keir correctly spends much of his time outside the United Kingdom. The reality is he enjoys the company of foreigners rather more than the natives as he’s disappointed at the wrong answers they keep giving him and his useless party in the polling booths.
I can assure him that things are going to get worse. A lot worse. The basis of my prediction emerges from a little reported fact at a magistrate’s courtroom at the weekend.
Before Westminster magistrates on a very serious charge of spying for Tehran (with an alleged plan for violence) was an Iranian chap called Mostafa Sepahvand, 39. Mr Sepahvand has much to thank this country for.
He arrived here on the back of a lorry nine years ago and immediately sought asylum. Allegedly he told the asylum people that he was concerned for his safety back in Iran.
Being mugs we gave him a council flat in Marylebone, an upscale neighbourhood in North West London, so he and his partner had somewhere nice to live. On top of that he received £1,500 a month in benefits.
That was one council flat that couldn’t go to British family.

Appearing with him in the dock was his chum Farhed Manesh, 44. He had arrived a few years later by boat and told the authorities he had some religious problem about living in Tehran.
He too was also granted asylum and naturally had to have somewhere to live, so a council flat was found for him in Harlesden, also in North West London. Not Marylebone, but better than living in Iran eh?
Another council flat which went not, to a local family, but to a Muslim man from 3,373 miles away. How stupid are we?
So, my question is this (be grateful if Nigel Farage would raise it in Parliament); How many council flats in the UK are housing illegal migrants? From the gentle lifting of the courtroom carpet I suspect the number may run into thousands.
Starmer would know very little of this and wouldn’t care less. You see he doesn’t want to go to Hartlepool or Crewe because it won’t get him any airmiles.
The next government should make clear that the migrants stand behind Brits. Once they are all satisfied they we might, just might, give them a place but not until local demand is satisfied.
And that’s where his achilles heel is. He doesn’t understand that seeing an illegal migrant in a UK council house or flat is an insult to every voter in the land who is either a) being denied that place and b) through council tax being forced to subsidise their rent.
And the reason I know that it’s going to get worse for him is due to an off the record briefing given to The Times on Saturday in which the government admitted that Starmer’s much-vaunted ‘’smash the gangs’’ policy had failed and the government expects record numbers of Channel migrants this year (already 12,000).

Almost more worrying is that the government spokesman said it was ‘’fanciful’’ (their expression) to expect it to come down by next year at the earliest. So, lying ahead is years and years of rising illegal immigration.
According to the briefing, more and more are arriving from the mainly Muslim and totally skint African state of Eritrea. The numbers even exceed those of our chums from Afghanistan. I imagine the Lib Dems will be delighted.
The reason the Eritreans find us so attractive is that they are in a constant state of war and young man face military call-up, not for a year or two, but possibly forever they get over here for a nice council house and £1,500 a month in benefits.
Reform has the only solution which will work and has a majority consensus. Farage says he will turn the boats back. Hoo-bloody-ray. France enjoy stuffing it to our fishermen. Let’s cause them some discomfort.
In private, Farage believes he will win the next General Election on the migrant issue alone. I agree. Just watch what happen when the Welsh voters go to the polls next May for their Parliament, the Senedd.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Reform topped the polls despite, or because, Labour have ruled the land for 100 years. Look where it has got the Welsh. The least healthy, least educated and most broke people in the entire UK.
That’s Socialism for you. Imagine if all the Welsh council houses went to migrants. They would be out of office for a thousand years.
It was only a throwaway line in a court case, but those two Iranian migrants receiving council houses could trigger off a political revolution.
